The Corace project’s was commissioned by Toshiba Europe Gmbh with the aim to produce bags for laptops  that could fit the European massmarket. The first inspiration for the shape came from the image of a woman protecting her pregnant belly with her hands. So we designed two pockets on every piece representing the hands embracing the content of the bags. One of the idea was to design bags that could be used not just for carrying notebooks but to supply the everyday life. In order to have a strong resistance and waterproof protection, the bags are made with two different materials: pvc coated canvas for the body and nylon fabric for the pockets and the details. The contrast between these materials creates a technical and sporty result. The set consists of three pieces: backpack, toploader bag, frontloader bag. All of them are fitted on 16 inches laptops.
