During the Milan Design Week 2016 Odo Fioravanti and Land Rover presented the Freeride project. The term freeriding takes its origin from the snowboarding environment and it describes the slopes without fixed routes, paying attention to the thrill and the passion for the most extreme trails.
The open-air attitude represents the key element of the three scenarios; it is embodied by three inclined and videomapped planes on which the three boards slide. The design of the boards was inspired from the shapes of the new Convertible Version of the Range Rover Evoque. The city and the asphalt gives life to a longboard; the mountains and the snow to a snowboard; the ocean and the water to a surfboard.
