Canopy beds create a three-dimensional space around a couple and with this bed we tried to give a measure to this space, representing in the third dimension the sense of a bond that isn't necessarily binary. We had fun imagining two people, followed by another. The bed frame is made of U-shaped tubes that are grouped in pairs at the corners to form the legs. Inside these, a third tube extends upward to form the parallelepiped of the canopy, surrounded at the top by a tube that wraps around like a ring. The name Tresca evokes the union of these three tubes at each corner. The headboard, made of folded steel sheet, features a square-mesh perforation, emphasizing a sense of precision and proportion.
